Salsa isn't salsa without a little cilantro.
And I don't like cilantro, neither does Mark, so we left it out. And the salsa is OK, but missing something...something which we finally decided had to be cilantro.

Hey sista' I'll be in town (Hendersonville) the next couple of days if you were thinking about making the trek up there. Oh and I enjoy the blog very much. I have added it to my morning rituals. If Jennifer would ever update hers I would happy (hear that other sista?). I don't know that I'll be starting one up anytime soon. My life may be just a little too intense...or not.
uh.....I think I mentioned leaving the cilantro out would be noticeable. I don't know what you could use to take it's place, but I'm sure there must be another spice you could add.
XOXO
I think of people adding fresh flat-leaf parsley, but I don't see how that would really fill the bill. I love cilantro, you must be crazy.
Cilantro, to me, has a very powerful taste and a little goes a long way. That said have you considered augmenting it with the hearts of some of your japeleno for a bit of fire?
I just wanted to point out how much feedback you got about a three or so sentence paragraph concerning cilantro. In contrast the previous blog which was considerably lengthier received nada.
I like it! Good job. Go on.
